A few expectations to be aware of before you begin:
- While our toys are inspected for loose parts, etc. safety is ultimately the responsibility of each family. Please supervise your children, and do not allow children under the age of 3 to play with small parts.
- Toys are currently picked up and dropped off at a private residence. Please be respectful of our home and neighbors.
- Reservations that are not picked up within one week will be returned to the shelf.
- Late items will incur a .25 cent fee/item/day following the 7 day grace window. This amount will automatically accrue in your account and must be paid before checking out new toys.
- Please care for our toys! We want them to last. However, we do know that with children (and pets!), damage happens and wear is inevitable. For toys with a specific number of parts (ex. puzzles, games, etc.) , the following policy applies: If you realize that a piece is missing, please send us an email at oxfordtoycloset@gmail.com. In some cases, we may already have or are able to obtain replacement parts. If a puzzle or game with a specific number of pieces goes missing, you have the following options: 1. There is a one month grace period to locate the missing piece. The item will go into maintenance. 2. If not found, the toy library will see if a replacement part is available and let you know the price of that part. 3. If no replacement part is available, you can choose to replace the item yourself with a similar item in equal condition (ex. a gently used floor puzzle in place for a gently used floor puzzle) or pay the replacement fee.
